SQL Application Administrator
Objectives & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining and supporting all Production/QA/development MS SQL servers
SQL Reporting
Database application administration
MSSQL Intermediate to Advanced DBA
Extensive DBA experience with MS SQL Server 2008 and up
Expertise in Database Administration on Production Servers with server configuration, monitoring, performance tuning and maintenance with outstanding troubleshooting capabilities
Proficiency in SQL Server Replication especially with regard to scalability concerns, Backup/Recovery, Disaster recovery and planning
Hands on experience in high availability and redundancy options, Database mirroring, Availability groups
Ability to work efficiently with multiple departments
Audit/approve change requests to existing tables, stored procedures, indices, constraints, triggers and views, as well as audit/approve new entries
Experience with GP Dynamics and Epics preferred
Other projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
The ability to collaborate, and to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical users, is essential.
Microsoft GP Dynamics experience
positive attitude/easy to get along with
problem solving skills
