Database Administrator
Key Accountabilities
Install and configure database software and tolls
Execute backup processes for databases
Execute security levels and processes to manage
Execute disaster recovery protocol and group work, projects
Execute health monitoring plans for database environments
Daily monitoring of data ecosystems
Schedule and perform regular system maintenance and updates
Skills & Experience
Requires BS in Computer Science or related field or combination of education and experience sufficient to perform duties at an experienced level
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience (in addition to education) in a technical environment with software programming/engineering background
Knowledge of relational databases, management
Must have knowledge of data structures and theory
Requires demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborative environment
Ability to travel 10% of the time.
