Database Administrator II
Minimum Qualifications
BS Degree in a related field plus 2 years of related experience Or High School Diploma or G.E.D and 6 years of related experience is required
Minimum of 2 years SQL Server experience; solid experience with SQL Server 2008/2012
Microsoft SSRS, SSIS, SSAS experience
MCDBA/MCITP: Database Administrator certifications are a plus
Knowledge of Symantec NetBackup is a plus
Knowledge of server, database and query tuning and optimization is a plus
Experience with SAN technology (specifically NetApp) is a plus
Working knowledge of Windows 2008 & R2
Familiarity with ITIL is desired
Healthcare and/or financial application experience desired
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to:
Plan computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries.
Establish and maintain security and integrity controls.
Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management.
Propose and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
