MySQL and SQL Server DBA
Responsibilities and Duties
Configure and maintain MySQL and SQL Server databases. Perform capacity planning and ensure all of the DBs are configured correctly.
Set up database replications, maintain them and set up monitor scripts
Implement database upgrades to MySQL 5.7/MariaDB/Sql Server 2016
Optimize database queries and ensure to table locking/deadlocks happen in production
Setup dev and test environments, refresh from prod every quarter or as needed.
Schedule and maintain tasks such as DB optimize and Encryption of the PII data.
Create a framework for data archival from prod DBs
Develop and maintain stored procedures that drive the BIS system.
Configure and Maintain SSRS
Qualifications and Skills
Solid business Relational Database experience, advanced SQL skills and query optimization.
Familiarity with DB Engines and setup
Experience with DB replication setup and maintenance
Experience with DB upgrades
Must be able to work on several projects at the same time.
Experience with monitoring scripts.
Experience in production environment and deployments
