:Jr. Database Administrator
Associate's Degree or higher in a related field from an accredited university or college OR equivalent experience working in a database/business intelligence environment
One or more years of experience working with databases in a Windows environment
Microsoft SQL 2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2016
SQL Server Management Studio
SQL Reporting Services (Native and/or Sharepoint Integrated)
Significant Experience Writing/optimizing SQL queries
Familiar with: database performance/analysis, indexing, disaster recovery, replication
Experience with IT LAN administration in a Windows environment
Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
High comfort level with standard Active Directory administration
Strong scripting and automation skills
Familiarity or exposure to application coding languages/programs (not limited to) .net, C#, ASP, JavaScript, LightSwitch
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills; ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, to identify complex problems, and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication; ability to communicate information and ideas in speech and writing so that others (technical and non-technical) will understand.
Time management: ability to self-motivate and stay organized to manage multiple, sometimes shifting, priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
