Database Administrator
Serve as Database Administrator (DBA), assisting and backing up other database Administrators in the Database Group, performing all duties associated with administering, managing and supporting the enterprise Banner Oracle Databases. Such duties include all aspects of Oracle administration (Backup and Recovery, patch and release application, security, database tuning, etc.), all aspects of Banner Administration (instance management, patch and release application, security, scripting, problem solving, etc.), and integration of Banner/Oracle with vendor applications. This position also assists and offers technical support to other IT managers/analysts and assists with various other applications that support Banner such as Appworx, Eprint, ODS and Webfocus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with nine semester hours in programming and three years of experience in business applications consulting or development. Experience in the field of work related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
