SQL Server DBA
esponsibilities
Database Administration of SQL Server 2012/2014 in an large scale, enterprise data warehouse environment
Performance analysis, optimization and tuning of user queries, stored procedures and ETL processes
Planning, monitoring and executing on database capacity planning and scalability
HA/DR, backup/restores, and database security
On-call responsibility
Qualifications
5+ years of professional work experience as a Database Administrator using Microsoft SQL Server in a business intelligence environment
Must be highly proficient in all aspects of database administration including, but not limited to, backup/recovery/DR, all flavors of replication, advanced performance tuning, and proactive monitoring
Willing and eager to expand knowledge of other data technologies
Must thrive in fast paced, results driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player, highly motivated, enthusiastic and detail-oriented
Proven ability to analyze and solve large unstructured problems
