Database Administrator
Qualifications
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.
Basic Qualifications for level 2:
Bachelors degree and minimum 3 years of directly related experience. In lieu of degree, 7 years of directly related experience. Grade will be determined on years of experience.
Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance.
Extensive knowledge of and experience with Oracle Database Administration
Experience with Oracle 11g
Experience with high availability and replication in an enterprise environment (Data Guard)
Experience with creation and maintenance of database standards and policies
Experience with backup and recovery
Experience with Oracle database installation, configuration, and deployment
Experience with database security considerations and configuration
Experience with script development
Extensive knowledge of and experience with SQL
Experience developing and testing SQL procedures and scripts
Experience with query analysis and performance tuning
Experience administering and supporting development, test, and production environments
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment serving in multiple roles on a daily basis
Experience with database, network, and operating system monitoring, troubleshooting, analysis, and investigation
Experience developing software within CMMI-compliant processes
Experience developing software using a source code control system
Experience with creating and managing defects with defect tracking tools
