GENERAL WORKFLOW INCLUDES:
Performing SQL Server upgrades, applying patches, and monitoring status
Performance tuning
Helping to promote development changes into production
Scheduling jobs and job monitoring
Work collaboratively with staff in the Data Center Production group to continually improve operations and service levels.
REQUIREMENTS WILL INCLUDE:
1-2 years’ experience creating and maintaining SQL Server databases and instances in a production environment.
Experience maintaining highly available databases and database clusters.
Certifications or an interest in pursuing certification is a plus.
