Database Administrator
Architecture and Engineering of data solutions
Support 24X7X365 production and development operations
Contribute to company best practices on database design, infrastructure, automation, configuration management, monitoring, alerting, and trending. Setup, configure, maintaining and monitoring systems, network, and applications
Develop expert understanding of technical and business process flow for applications and provide recommendations for improvement collaboratively engaging with any / all other development/production teams to find solutions
Develop and maintain effective relationships with other internal teams
Receive and manage after-hours alerts as part of the on call support rotation within the team.
Ability to drive and lead projects to their full completion and ensure their continued success post-completion
Provide after-hours or weekend maintenance as needed (you will be expected to participate in on-call rotations)
A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Problem resolution including root cause analysis in the case of outages
Other duties as assigned
Education/Qualities Desired:
College degree is preferred, but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate in an extremely agile environment
Flexibility to wear multiple hats
Attention to detail
