Data Base Administrator
Minimum of 7 years administering MS SQL Server in a distributed, production environment
Knowledge of MS SQL Server database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures
Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model
Confirmed experience with clustering solutions and scalability / capacity planning
Familiarity with MS SQL Server Database Security
Experience performing MS SQL Server backups, data recovery, replication and log shipping – disaster recovery and business continuity
Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server logical and physical database modeling concepts and techniques
Knowledge of productivity factors and ability to understand impact of issues on overall database performance
Knowledge of fault detection, root cause analysis and resolution processes
Ability to keep a cool head under pressure and effectively participate in system down crisis situations
Experience with coding and/or debugging in C# / PowerShell preferred
Experience with middleware / application layer abstraction (.Net)
Knowledge of SAN and VMware technologies
Strong ability to create task automation
Solid verbal and written communication skills
