Principal QATS Database Administrator
Responsibilities:
Work with our developers to create and maintain database deployment/automation scripts
Manage and maintain database replication between multiple servers in multiple environments
Deploy database releases in multiple environments to ensure that all environments are in line with each other.
Monitoring multiple databases across multiple environments
Troubleshoot various database issues
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of working experience with SQL server, database clustering, and database monitoring
Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting database replication
Experience with database automation
Windows OS fundamentals including Active Directory
Experience with virtualization software including VMware.
Ability to troubleshoot DB and VM issues
Ability to estimate effort
Ability to adapt to change
Strong attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly
Self-motivated and driven to succeed
Works well within a team, as well as independently
Strong communication skills
