Database Administrator - Information Systems
Job Objective: Implement and maintain physical database systems. Perform tuning of the relational database management systems and related application databases. Evaluate database management systems and related tool sets. Develop and implement data and database related standards, procedures and guidelines. Review, approve and apply patches, upgrades, changes and/or modifications to databases, as required Installs, maintains, and upgrades database software. Monitor database efficiency and ensure optimal performance. Design, implement, monitor and maintain a security infrastructure as it relates to databases access
Required Education: Prof. Certification and training in the area of database administration.
Required Experience: Two to four years.
Preferred Education: Certification in SQL, Oracle database administration
