Senior Database Administrator
Senior Database Administrator (DBA) should have extensive hands-on experience and knowledge in DB2 and database administration in zSeries/Operating System (Z/OS) environment. The Senior DBA should also have expertise with Capacity planning, Backup/Recovery, Patching, Performance Tuning and DB2 tools. Senior DBA will be responsible for communications with Business groups and Development teams to ensure support, per Service Level Agreements, and will be responsible for leading the team in platform and software upgrades and assisting application teams in troubleshooting production issues.
Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Candidates are not able to refuse a project based upon travel.
