Sr. Database Administrator
• Minimum 3 years performing database installs, upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues for a large organization
• Experience working in a team that delivers a high availability service
• Experience with one or more of the following database platforms: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.
• Experience as a database developer.
• Experience with one or more of the following advanced technologies: MySQL Replication, VMWare, Oracle RAC, Oracle Cloud Control, Microsoft Clustering, DB Cloning.
• Minimum 3 years performing database installs, upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues
• 3 years of database administration experience for a large organization
• Experience working in a team that delivers a high availability service
• Experience with one or more of the following database platforms: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.
• Experience as a database developer.
• Experience with one or more of the following advanced technologies: MySQL Replication, VMWare, Oracle RAC, Oracle Cloud Control, Microsoft Clustering, DB Cloning
Additional Job Details • Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases
• Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime including space and resource management
• Responsible for problem escalation to RDBMS Vendor and third parties as appropriate
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades
• Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team
