SQL Database Administrator DBA
Job Description
Minimum 8 years of SQL experience with MS SQL Server and Oracle is required
ETL Development experience using DataStage is preferred
Experience developing Data mapping and Analysis documents and process documents is required
Working knowledge of a variety of data file formats and structures including COBOL, XML, flat files etc. is required
Active participant at a Database expert capacity with responsibilities including End user Interaction, Business Analysis, Development, Integration, Documentation, Testing, Deployment, Configuration and Production/Customer support, Maintenance and Enhancements.
Provide recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements within the operational data stores, data warehouse and data marts
Devise and develop solutions to meet or exceed business requirements.
Hands on participation in transforming business specific requirements into functional Specs and Technical design specifications.
Work with the teams inside and outside of TCLife to develop High Level and Low-level solutions and accompanying documents
Communicate with several different technology areas in a highly matrix organization
Work with Data Analyst to develop Data Mapping documents and process impact analysis documents
Support and Mentor team’s members at an SME capacity on coding, script generation, performance tuning, etc.
Conduct review sessions and ensure quality code delivery
