Database Administrator
Will contribute in the design, creation, and maintenance of company databases that satisfy the functional and operational needs of the customers. In addition, the candidate will contribute to the design and deployment of cloud based database technology using internal private cloud technology. Responsibilities include assisting in and deploying database installations, database creations, database maintenance, user access management for Microsoft SQL Server databases , applications and websites. New employee will work on database projects with leadership of senior DBAs, will receive mentoring from senior Database Administrator (DBA)s, and will receive formal and on-the-job training in specific database management systems
The new team members will be paired with a mentor who will help acclimate them to the position. We expect the new team members demonstrate initiative for learning, adaptability to complex situations and a fundamental understanding of how IT systems operate. Entry level employees will participate in a developed on-boarding experience which helps explain the strategies of the organization, introduce them to other new employees, interact with our leadership and provide career resources to help them navigate through a variety of opportunities.
Level 1: Technical bachelor's degree. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
Level 2: Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
