Database Administrator

Position Description: Perform DBA activities, including, but not limited to: backup, restore, performance tuning, security management, capacity planning, standards development and enforcement, product upgrades and enhancements. Maintain SAP/Business Objects/Crystal Enterprise test, development and production environments. Supplement admin duties with designing, developing, and administration of complex Crystal Reports. Develop documentation based on ISO processes and procedures, as needed.

Position Requirements: Knowledge of designing and implementing reports utilizing the Crystal Reports Enterprise product. Administration of the Business Objects production applications, and test and development environments. Must have 3-4 years prior Business Objects experience to include upgrading for version 3.X to 4.X. Strong current SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of designing and implementing MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle database enviroments a strong plus. Good oral and written communication skills and ability to convey technical information, is desired. DBA's are required to carry a pager and must perform unscheduled after-hours work when necessary.

Qualifications Requires Bachelorís degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience. Degrees Bachelor's Degree
