Unix DB2 Database Admin
Extremely knowledgeable in "state of the art" technologies and tools, networking
Proficient in DB2 zOS and UDB on UNIX,
Expert in database setup and configuration
Advanced DBA skills in database install and server setup with associated years of experience.
Experience required with build out of new environments and with developing and troubleshooting Autosys job streams and performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade Application hardware, software, and related equipment, while ensuring its optimal performance
• Provide technical assistance and training to end-users
• Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion
• Maintain working knowledge of products and/or services
• Prepare reports, metrics and correspondence as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT- related discipline or equivalent experience.
