Junior Database Administrator
Database administration, Support and Security
Monitoring and troubleshooting, performance tuning, code migrations, database backups and restores, configurations and maintenance
High availability, disaster recovery
Database design reviews
Code reviews and implementations for database objects
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/MIS or an Associate’s Degree is preferred
Experience solving complex problems and developing solutions
OS experience with Windows, Linux and/or Unix
Team player with the ability to work well with others
Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen, comprehend and learn from others
Experience with PL-SQL, ANSI SQL and/or T-SQL is preferred
Database administration experience (i.e. SQL Server, Netezza, Oracle) is preferred
Data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) experience with SSIS or equivalent is a plus
Experience with Business Intelligence and/or reporting solutions such as SSRS, Micro Strategy or equivalent is a plus
