Great Plains/ DBA
General Purpose: The Great Plains Administrator is responsible for developing and implementing best practices regarding design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, enhancements, report creation, and daily technical support of the Great Plains system.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Maintains optimal system availability and proper interfaces to other key systems. Responsible for upgrades and module implementations. Identifies issues and provides training on new processes and modules. Provides design, installation, monitoring, and maintenance. Creates, provides and maintains Microsoft Dynamics GP reports. Acts as the internal GP expert. Works closely with Finance and other departments to determine Company needs and creates and modifies reports using SmartList Builder and Crystal Reports. Provides project status as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: Bachelorís degree in Information Technology/Software Development or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a consultant with a Microsoft certified Gold Partner. Should have experience with SQL 2008/2012 Database design, implementation, administration.
