Database Administrator
Job Description:
Collaborate with developers to ensure performance and scalability are being maintained
Create various database processes to load and procure data using scripts, queries, SSIS packages and other ETL methodologies
Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving SQL development issues
Responsible for improvement and maintenance including deployment and upgrades
Work and communicate with a talented team in a highly agile Scrum environment
Participate in peer code reviews
Keep Quality, Patient Safety, and Privacy a top priority

Required skills:
3+ years experience using RDBMS and/or noSQL database systems
Worked with and performance tuned databases like PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis
Expertise as a SQL developer and writing complex queries
Expertise in data cleansing techniques and tools
Experience managing SQL via a source control tool
Demanded well-structured code

Desired Skills:
Experience with the Pentaho suite of tools
Experience architecting for SaaS, multi-tenant applications
Rudimentary knowledge of web-based application development

Health Information Technology experience
Experience working in a startup or entrepreneurial organization
Required Education:
Awarded a BS in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
