SQL Database Administrator
Responsibilities:
Provide production SQL Server Database support which includes log shipping, replication and mirroring.
Requirements:
3-5 years of professional experience with SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
3-5 years of experience with SQL Server backup/recovery strategies; distributed databases; data migration; security and error handling.
Provides physical database design; performance tuning; trouble shooting; error handling; hardware planning.
Understanding and general use of SharePoint, SQL server administration, Management Studio and Profiler.
Excellent customer service.
Excellent written and oral communication.
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Preferred:
MCDBA Certification
