Sr. DBA
5+ years of MS SQL Server experience, including deep knowledge of architecture, implementation and support
Understanding of, and experience with, relational database environments
Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Ability to articulate and collaborate with customers and team members in carrying out work functions
Experience working with virtualized database servers via VMware and SAN storage
Knowledge of MS SQL Server tools and practices
Experience troubleshooting MS SQL Server system level issues, such as crashes due to device failures, corruption, lock handling
Complete other assigned project tasks as required
Technical documentation skills
Oversees rules, procedures and standards for access and maintenance of shared data resources
Ensure that database security is effectively managed and policies are reviewed on a regular basis
Review overall physical database structures for data integrity, quality, recoverability, maintenance and physical storage requirements
Ability to pay close attention to detail in ensuring product quality assurance
