Oracle DBA
Install and configure Oracle database environments
Perform database tuning and administrative functions for production and data warehousing environments
Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
Must be able to backup and recover an Oracle database in a variety of configurations (disk or tape archives, rman or cold backups)
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/related discipline/technical training equivalent or the equivalent in education and work experience
Must be highly motivated and demonstrate high level of initiative
Knowledge of data warehousing
Minimum 5 - 10 years experience; must have at least 2 years experience as an Oracle DBA
Must have an in-depth knowledge of Oracle, Linux, PL/SQL, and shell scripting
Must have strong PL/SQL skills and database management experience
Familiarity with Perl and Java
Experience with web application development
Solid communication skills
