Database Administrator
Architect data solutions based on industry and organizational best-practices
Author, analyze, scope, and estimate functional and non-functional requirements
Document architecture and development deliverables
Ensure that data systems quality meets high standards, leverages best practices, is secure, and performs to scale
Maintain current data services' system infrastructure
Determine client data collection strategy and execute across product sets
Carry out Data Quality control strategies
Consolidate and centralize current data systems
Drive hands-on technical execution: database administration, development, ETL implementation
Serve as the in-house data subject matter expert and technical liaison
Troubleshoot, triage, and escalate Level 2 product and technology support issues
Escalate resource or technology related concerns to stakeholders
Collaborate with project management, product management and other technology stakeholders on communications relative to resource planning, project progress, technology issues, solutions and deliverables
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Math
An interest in math, data and analytics with a passion for data statistics and probability
3+ years of experience in a data analytics/engineering; leadership experience is a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft application stack, current web service and modular architectures
Experience with database administration, database development or data warehousing
Experience with conceptual, logistic or physical data modeling, designing/implementing ETL processes and writing business or technical requirements
Knowledge or experience with IT/Networking
Comfort with critical quality aspects in development, including but not limited to unit testing, static code analysis, continuous integration, code reviews, performance monitoring, and database tuning
