Database Administrator/Developer (Shared Services ) Louisville, Kentucky
The Database Administrator/Developer will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of databases which support the oil products and services developed by the Business Application Development Team.
The DBA/Developer will work with the Lead/Members of the Application Development Teams in planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of both logical and physical database models and structures.
Design/Modify logical models within existing database environments.
Manage existing data models and create/modify models to meet new functional
Procedural database programming including PL/pgSQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL.
Troubleshoot problems reported by clients.
Identify potential performance and process improvements.
Perform data analysis, design and training, as required.
Develop new and manage existing ETL jobs for the application databases.
Provide SQL / database support to the application developers.
Manage the databases in development, QA and Production environments.
College degree in computer related field or equivalent experience required.
Demonstrated experience in database design, schema development, optimization/tuning and maintenance of large scale(multiple terabyte) PostgreSQL, SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
5+ years of proven experience including a broad range of Database Administration and Development.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience of Database Architecture and Development
Experience with development of functions, partitioning, and replication.
Minimum 5 years Procedural SQL programming experience highly desired.
