MS SQL Server DBA
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Database administration to include performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs, updates, upgrades, backups, recoveries, security, capacity planning, etc.; (2) Designing, developing, monitoring, and oversight of database and data standards, policies, programs, standards, and agreements; (3) Working collaboratively with application development teams on architectural requirements and implementation issues; (4) Advising development teams on architecture, connectivity, and adopted standards of the global IT enterprise; (5) Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise in a state of the art, global, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and SAP environment; (6) Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and providing knowledge transfer to a global community of peers and collaborators.
MUST have 5 years of STRONG/CURRENT MS SQL Server database and services administration in a large and complex technical environment focused on performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs/implementations, upgrades, backups, recoveries, security, capacity planning, and technical troubleshooting through resolution.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT/RECENT MS SQL Server replication experience with STRONG/CURRENT MS SQL Server database design.
