Database Analyst
Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
. The senior analyst will support each phase of development including design, coding, testing, documentation and implementation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data warehouse development including: · Relational database management skills that include table, procedure, trigger design and management
· Working understanding of standard data ETL processes
· Strong command of both basic and advanced SQL
· Project definition/ design of logical and data model
· Development of filters, attributes and metrics
· Building reports
· Data visualization using MicroStrategy Visual Insights
· Development of performance dashboards
· Data mining and advanced analytics
· Caching and cubes
Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school
Three years data warehouse experience
Three years database structure development experience
Three years data mining experience
