Database Administrator
5+ years as Oracle DBA and experience with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance, tuning, troubleshooting and administration in a multiple platform environments
1+ years in ExaData Oracle DBA support experience
2+ years in Oracle Data Guard
5+ years with hands on Oracle RAC
5+ years in Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
2+ years of experience in database advanced security administrator role including Label Security, Audit Vault and Data Vault
2+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
3+ Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment with UNIX shell scripting skills to support databases
Experience with Data Modeling tools
Previous experience with Oracle 11g RAC, ASM and Data Guard Disaster Recovery
Exposure to Exadata Database Machine administration and support including RAC performance tuning, patches, network, RMAN, OS in Data Guard Disaster Recovery environment
6 + years of experience in ORACLE 11g PL/SQL programming
Experience with UNIX and Linux Administration and shell scripting
Installation, Configuration and Performance Tuning using 11g Oracle Grid Control
Experience with configuring Data Guard ExaData clusters for maximum availability
Expertise in backup/recovery and failover methods with Data Guard and best practices.
Experience with Oracle RAC database, clustered environment set-up, Data Guard, Advanced Security features, Audit Vault, Database Vault, Partitioning, Replication, Flashback, Network configurations and Storage Configurations.
Strong RMAN background with skills to restore RAC databases using ASM storage.
Experience with Exadata support, performance tuning, troubleshooting experience with RAC databases, OS, Networking, patches and storage.
Strong Enterprise environment experience Deployment and upgrade of engine & clients
As SQL Server DBA: Experience with DTS/SSIS Packages, T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, constraints and cursors
Logical and Physical database design, performance, scalability and tuning reviews/assessments (DB and SQLtuning), and query monitoring
Backup recovery, high availability/Cluster and DR
Strong skills in Replication
Assisting, troubleshooting and guiding developers with any issues
Knowledge of additional DBMS's is a plusMust have strong Windows background Skills:
Strong problem research and resolution skills.
Performance monitoring and tuning background
Strong background knowledge of Active directory security.
