PostgreSQL DBA / Data Base Administrator
Design and develop of large scale databases
Manage existing database and improve performance
Slice and dice big data, perform data mining, fuel analytics applications and report business and engineering related data
Collaborate with other engineers and users to provide timely access to data and support company initiatives
Experience architecting and building large scalable database schemas and infrastructure
5+ years of PostgreSQL database experience and building large scale databases
Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix
Experience setting up and monitoring database replication and back-up
Industry experience with large data sets
Masters’ degree in Computer Science
Experience working with MySQL (including replication)
Experience Hadoop or other NO-SQL database technologies
Experience with indexing
