Data Analyst/Database Administrator
Specifically, this position is responsible for performing Data Investigation and Extraction using advanced SQL through a variety of reporting tools, including raw SQL Queries, MS Reporting Services and live reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench. In addition, will investigate complex table structures to identify data relationships and the location of required data, and validate accuracy of the results.
This position is also responsible for planning, installation, setup, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of servers that make up the data warehouse and other RDBMS Systems as assigned. Must ensure that information is available as needed in a timely fashion and is accurate, valid and reliable. Responsible for maintaining security of all RDBMS and minimizing chance of possible data loss.
Requirements: 4-year degree in Business Management or Information Systems or equivalent in work experience. Must have 3+ years in database management, development, design and report development. Must be familiar with T-SQL and SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS as well as Crystal and/or Epic Reporting Workbench. Health care experience and knowledge of Epic data models is also required and holding an Epic certification is preferred. Expertise, knowledge and experience related to Meaningful Use and Core Measure requirements is required.
