Data Management Application DBA
* Provide support to development teams by reviewing logical and physical database changes/designs
* Confer with the DBA team members to suggest changes to optimize database performance and implements changes
* Perform application server tuning to increase processing performance, and closely monitors usage, storage space, and other influences on application performance
* Work with application teams to provide technical input for creation of policies, procedures and related changes to the applications
* Serves as escalation point for technical database issues that cannot be resolved by application development team members
* Masters/Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline from top technical institutes
* 8+ years of professional experience working for IT companies managing large oracle warehouses
* Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture viz, 11g/12c platforms
* Implementation and support of large Oracle warehouse environments
* Experience working with Oracle Support
* Strong experience in designing database solutions for large volume loading and transformations
* Proficiency in Oracle architecture, optimization techniques, performance tunings and underlying technologies to provide inputs related to impact of a change on the Oracle Platform
* Good experience on Linux/Unix based environment
* Experience on Oracle Data Guard would be a plus
