Database Administrator
Seeking a database administrator with Sharepoint focus in support of a military client. Designs and provides technical support of databases for specific user requirements . Performs development and implementation of data specifications, designs, integration, testing, and documentation. Maintain legacy databases and supports initialization of new database systems for which new applications are being planned and incorporated. Reviews and proposes solutions for new database system requirements. Interfaces with Customers to understand critical business processes and identify database design factors.
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
* Security+
* TS/SCI Clearance
* General familiarity with UNIX and Linux operating systems
* Well versed in Active Directory tools and services
* ITIL V3 Foundation Certification
* Strong experience and ability to develop and maintain database solutions
* 8-10 years experience in data base design and data base management activity development and operation solutions
* 5 years experience with Oracle SQL, Microsoft Server based database environments and other applicable database
* Experience with SharePoint/SQL back end
