SQL Programmer
Independent self starter capable of identifying a problem, developing a solution and working with a team of resources to solve/implement it solutions.
Works with end users interactively to ascertain the best solution/improvement for the affected process. This will require facilitating the input from cross functional teams of clients, technicians, management and IT resources.
Develop systems to automate archival of key historical SQL data and purge data that is unnecessary for storage long term.
Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent 4 yr technical degree.
Strong experience with SQL Management Studio 2008 or higher.
Strong experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedure, and Database Design Concepts.
Strong experience with SSRS.
Some experience with SQL Server performance tuning including index design / optimization, sql profiler, and execution plans.
Track record of building stable automated solutions with SSIS and SQL Jobs.
Ability to translate high level direction into detailed analysis with SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
Solid unit testing practices.
Ability to learn new software platforms as required to generate reports that integrate multiple data sources.
Ability to analyze data and find most efficient means of presenting it such that is becomes actionable.
Strong experience with MS SQL Server 2008 or above.
Under limited direction, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once and meet or beat set forth deadlines.
Possesses strong oral communication, writing, computer skills necessary to collect data, document and present root cause analysis findings and solutions.
Must be a team player and have the ability to work well in cross functional teams.
