Oracle Database Administrator
The Oracle Database Administrator requires a mid to senior Oracle administrator. Bachelor of sciences degree from an accredited 4 year university is required. Minimum 4 years work experience in a technical field. Must be able to setup, maintain, and restore Oracle databases in event of system failure. Qualified applicant must be highly proficient in SQL and PL/SQL. Knowledge of data warehouse techniques, data mining/modeling, database security topics and web programming are a plus.
Install/Configure Oracle databases
Maintain/apply all database patches
Manage database users, roles, permissions, and passwords
Design and implement database backup plan
Design/Tune database objects
Write custom scripts and queries
Maintain database imports and exports
Maintain database scripts, functions, and procedures
Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree with 4 years relevant professional experience required.
