Oracle DBA (Database Administrator)
The Oracle DBA will will be responsible to analyze the data models in collaboration with application team Implement database physical design.
Develop and implement partitioning methods and archiving processes, provide expert analysis on database upgrades, configure and maintain the infrastructure, and develop & maintain back-up strategy in coordination with the team Evaluate and implement new database features.
He/she will lead the POC exercises in partnership with other Sr resources and will serve as the next level of escalation for Jr processionals.
t. He/she will develop and maintain database standards as part of DBA Center Of Excellence, develop data migration programs and replication configurations, create and communicate project plans, manage database access privileges, and implement data security policies & standards in adhering to security policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems 5+ years of relevant experience 5+ year experience in Oracle RAC, Backup & Recovery, DR. 2+ years experience in Grid monitoring. Strong knowledge of methodology, tools, standards and procedures Subject matter expertise and strong business knowledge Excellent technical/analytical skills (e.g., systems design) and/or strong programming and design skills Working knowledge of project management concepts In depth knowledge of information systems concepts Excellent interpersonal skills Strong decision-making and leadership abilities Strong organizational and problem solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills
