Database Administrator
Assumes the day-to-day accountability for the operation, support, reporting, integrity and improvement of the Picture, Archive, and Communications System , and other systems as they relate to the medical imaging system, in the department.
Acts as a liaison to departments throughout the system, referring physicians and their staff, and other clinical areas, as necessary. Monitors operating budget. Coordinates with vendors for installation, implementation and repair of equipment. Ensures that all services provided meet state, Federal and organizational regulations and policies, as well as accreditation/compliance requirements and internal effectiveness and efficiency goals. Participates in process and quality improvement endeavors. Works with leadership to determine, plan and implement medical imaging initiatives. Demonstrates excellence in customer service in all interactions with patients, their families, visitors, customers and employees.
Education - Vocational / Technical in \Graduate of an accredited AMA radiological training program
Experience - Three to five (3 – 5) years radiology or cardiology experience
