Database Administrator
* Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly preferred
* At least 2-4 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access 2010
* Proven capability in providing database administration support for SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008
* MCDBA or similar Microsoft or Database Certification desired
* Possess the ability to install, upgrade, and configure all database installations
* Experience in maintaining backup and recovery plans for a SQL environment
* Strong analytical skills for problem solving database related issues
* Ability to troubleshoot errors and support users
* Familiarity with transactional and merge replication
* Ability to design, develop, populate and maintain databases, monitoring and analyzing system performance and data storage.
* Ability to perform data modeling and optimization, develop and implement schemas, and interpret and write SQL queries.
* Experience monitoring all jobs and activities on the database
* Experience working with Deltek CostPoint, MS SharePoint, or ASP.NET integration a plus
* Must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment
