Database Administrator
Maintain a complex, multi-user, networked client/server database system. The major components of the system that require administration are: User Accounts, Security, Backup, TCP/IP based local area network, Systems Programming; Projects that must be monitored and assisted include: the development of additional client applications; the development of additional databases. These databases must be properly normalized, use existing code tables when possible, etc; perform system maintenance to ensure maximum performance and execute required backup of system and database;
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent certifications) in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience of 2+ years programming and system and database administration experience; knowledge of main administration; familiarity with windowing systems such as Windows and/or Microsoft Windows; sound writing and verbal skills.
