Senior Database Developer
• Tune and optimize operational and production databases in both OLTP and OLAP
• Create, maintain, and optimize database objects like indices, triggers, and schemata
• Design and write ETL processes for data from many disparate sources
• Implement and run our car-pricing data pipeline
• Write, debug, and optimize complex queries and stored procedures in PL/SQL
• Work in a collaborative team environment
• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining business-critical production databases
• Ability to deal with large, complex data sets
• Expert programming skills in SQL
• Experience using SSIS or some other ETL tool (or are comfortable writing your own)
• Experience building cubes and other reporting services (use of SSAS, SSRS)
• Experience with automotive-related data preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with non-relational databases a plus (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Experience with other programming languages a plus (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
• Passionate about data and a desire for continuous education
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
