IT Software Developer (Oracle/ASP.net)
Primarily the role of this position is to design, develop and maintain databases used to manage Biological and Pharmaceutical inventories. In addition to database development, there is a requirement to design, develop and maintain graphical user interfaces to access the databases. Technical writing is required to document the database scheme, user manuals, quality control documentation and responses to requests for proposals.
the position has the responsibility of providing end user support for custom applications that are developed, as well as commercial off-the-shelf software such as Microsoft Office Suite. The job also includes installing new hardware and software.
Education/Training – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline. Four years of practical experience can be substituted for a degree.
Business Experience – Minimum of 2-4 years experience working as a developer utilizing Oracle forms and reports and ASP.Net web application.
Knowledge/Skills – Excellent technical, documentation, follow up, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
