SQL Server Database Administrator
Provide data administration design and support applications using SQLServer. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the logical and physical database design, development, operation and maintenance of information systems. Develop and incorporate data policy, procedures, standards, and guidelines for information systems. Conduct assessments of the system to determine data transition, normalization, and integration into the application tables and supporting relational databases. Work closely with data end- users to ensure data integrity, data access, and rapid response to database inquiries. Provide technical assistance in all facets of database administration to include data processing techniques, database environment maintenance, data standards, access, and security.
Provide data administration design and support applications using Oracle. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the logical and physical database design, development, operation and maintenance of information systems. Develop and incorporate data policy, procedures, standards, and guidelines for information systems. Conduct assessments of the system to determine data transition, normalization, and integration into the application tables and supporting relational databases, Work closely with data end- users to ensure data integrity, data access, and rapid response to database inquiries. Provide technical assistance in all facets of database administration to include data processing techniques, database environment maintenance, data standards, access, and security.
Requirements:
* Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills
* Good interpersonal, written communication and customer relations skills
* At a minimum, be trained in the following:
o Database Administration class for SQLServer or equivalent, and
o Windows 2003 operating system training or equivalent
* Four (4) years experience with logical design, requirement definition, and database administration
* Four (4) years experience in relevant application database design, development, and implementation
* Provide expertise in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 database design and administration or equivalent
* Provide expertise in the analyst/tuning of databases for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 applications
