Microsoft SQL Server DBA
• This is a Microsoft SQL Server DBA role largely responsible for providing operational database services to the organization. This is a production DBA role and we are looking for a highly competent and highly motivated individual in this role, as such it will require a commitment on your part as well as Securities team
• Extensive experience with Database Administration for Microsoft SQL Server.
• Extensive hand-on experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
• Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
• Experience working with Windows servers, including Active Directory, proper disk configurations etc.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with 3rd party SQL tools.
• Knowledge of supporting SSIS and SSRS.
• Involvement with the SQL Server Community; membership in PASS, active in forums or newsgroups.
• Certification is a plus; MCTS, MCITP, etc.
