Microsoft SQL Database Administrator
* Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL databases
* Develop, document, test, and implement database back-up procedures and disaster recovery plan and activities
* Plan and perform database migrations from Development through to Production
* Assist with the design, implementation, monitoring, and administering of database security features
* Work with analysts and application developers to identify and resolve issues and unique performance concerns
* Perform data modeling and optimization, develop and implement schemas, and interpret and write SQL queries
* Proactively monitor system performance for performance and capacity constraints
* Establish and adhere to standards and best practices for database design
* Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline with at least 5 years of directly applicable SQL Server DBA experience.
* Extensive experience in designing and maintaining SQL Server relational databases
* Working knowledge of SQL Server 2005 - 2008 R2 along with SSRS, BIDS and SSIS packaging
* Experience performing database requirements analysis and database development
* Proven experience working with T-SQL language
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
