Database Administrator - Oracle
•Responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting and optimizing 100+ production Oracle databases
•Ability to implement database security, perform tuning, monitoring and create policies and procedures.
•Provide operational and maintenance support to several existing systems.
•Resolve performance issues, data replication, indexing and data integrity problems.
•Responsible as primary DBA for assigned shift
•Responsible for installations, upgrades, patching, back-ups and configurations.
•Other duties may be assigned.
Bachelors degree and a minimum of 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Three years’experience preferred.
•Two years of experience with Oracle 10 and 11 and supporting high availability production databases preferred.
•RAC experience strongly preferred
•Software development experience with OraclePL/SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Basic or ASP is desired.
•Experience with SQL Server a plus.
