DB2 DBA
you'll use your expertise in data management to implement best practices for strategically building enterprise solutions and tactically resolving day to day problems .
Candidate must have at least 5 years experience in DB2 database administration. Must be self motivated individual that can provide complex solutions and have organizational skills to manage and coordinate technical aspect of the large projects. Knowledge and experience with Oracle would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Database software installation and configuration on Linux, Unix and Windows platforms.
• Performance and tuning
• Backup and recovery procedures for local and remote sites
• Data Replication
• Implementation and maintenance of protection and security policies.
• Installation and implementation of software patches.
• Creation, modification and debugging of db scripts
• Database monitoring & support for Application db SLA achievement
