Database Administrator
. The Database Administrator designs, optimizes and monitors Database performance. Works with developers and vendors in optimizing system performance. Ensure data meets security and disaster recovery requirements. Responsible for monitoring the flow of user initiated requests for work to be performed by the Database Administrator. Additionally, the Database Administrator will be responsible for working with other IT associates and hospital affiliates in the implementation of new systems/system enhancements/upgrades and to determine and resolve day to day user related system problems.
* Minimum Associates Degree; Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred
* Minimum 3 years Database experience including Cache and/or Oracle and/or MS SWL
* Minimum 2 years EPIC or Oracle experience required
* Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft and/or EPIC certification preferred
* Minimum 2 years FTP Scripting experience preferred
* Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems and various applications, and programming languages preferred
* .NET, PeopleSoft and other development languages preferred
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet E-mail required
