Database Administrator
• Database monitoring and alerting
• Performance Tuning and query optimization
• Utilization Analysis
• Database backup and recovery
• Database upgrades
• Security administration
• Create, test, implement disaster recovery plans
• Database design and reconfiguration
• Creation of stored procedures and triggers
• Data migration
• Establish best practices
• 5+ years working experience in the administration of Oracle / SQL databases
• Oracle 11g experience
• Oracle E-Business Suite 12 experience
• Linux experience
• 4 year college education in Computer related field
• Experience in the above listed duties
• Experience with scripting and stored procedures in SQL and Oracle
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of systems administration for one or more common operating systems, including MS Windows and Linux
• Knowledge of LAN / WAN networking – or – knowledge of application development
