Database Administrator: SQL Server (DBA)
Under general supervision, directs and performs activities related to relational database design, development, administration, and the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to its management, security, maintenance and utilization. Acts as a technical resource in the resolution of complex database issues.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the areas of technical SQL Server database administration with comprehensive knowledge of windows operating systems.
Experience in working with VLDB, multi node cluster environment and advanced DR technologies are required.
Ability to write stored procedures, windows power shell scripts, familiarity with dynamic management views, configuration of data collector utilities and central management server.
Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills for solving complex database problems, developing standards and procedures, and long-range planning.
Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people of differing professional backgrounds.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
